My Philosophy
My philosophy about YOUR care, focuses on the holistic care I can provide to each and every one of you. As a Nurse Practitioner, I strive to focuses on the whole person, not just what’s on the surface. First and foremost I am a nurse, and have been for 19 years, I became a Nurse Practitioner to ensure my patients and their families receive the best “patient centered” care. I feel one of the most important aspects of being a Nurse Practitioner is ensuring my patients feel that I am truly listening and committed to the development of a personal relationship. It is important to make sure to not enter into a patient relationship with “my idea” of what’s best for the patient, but incorporating patient ideas, and evidence based research. I want my patients to know we are a team, and there is no I in team. By developing these relationships, I trust that people will grow, mature, and make the appropriate decisions regarding their healthcare in their own time and in their own way. I am excited to be providing primary health care to my community and I look forward to the opportunity to develop close personal relationships with the community members of the Lewiston, Clarkston, and surrounding areas and provide YOU with the quality, patient centered care you deserve.
I look forward to meeting you soon,
Tammy Demean ARNP
